Se cumplen once años de la recuperación de la fiesta de Moros y Cristianos de Vera. La idea abanderada por el arquitecto técnico del Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Vera, José Manuel Ramírez Hidalgo, planteada en el año 2014 con la intención de organizar unos festejos que unieran a los vecinos de Vera y diesen a conocer la rica historia vivida en la Tierra de Vera desde las capitulaciones musulmanas de 10 de junio de 1488, ha cuajado definitivamente en una celebración diferente al resto de municipios que lo organizan, haciendo primar en ella la difusión de las manifestaciones culturales del Sureste y la comunión entre los diferentes grupos humanos de nuestros Municipios.
