<\/a><\/p>\nDe entre los pleitos resueltos por el Alcalde Mayor de Vera se descubren semanalmente algunos documentos que, con el tiempo y el trabajo de los investigadores, vendr\u00e1n a precisar datos o a dilucidar lagunas hist\u00f3ricas creadas por la ausencia de alguna noticia sustancial. Durante estos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os varias cajas de cart\u00f3n protegieron temporalmente medio metro lineal de documentos judiciales pertenecientes a los a\u00f1os 1638 y 1639. Su tratamiento se aplaz\u00f3 por la dificultad que entra\u00f1aba la recuperaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica del papel como soporte: el continuo contacto con la humedad lo hab\u00eda convertido en un gran bloque de lino, tinta y barro. Despeg\u00e1ndolo con paciencia folio a folio con ayuda de un buril han visto la luz, de nuevo y tras casi cuatro siglos, algunos documentos muy interesantes. Uno de ellos, que trata sobre un asunto relacionado con los arrendadores de la torre de la garrucha (edificio defensivo que dio nombre al actual municipio de Garrucha), el alf\u00e9rez Miguel Xim\u00e9nez y Francisco Campoy, contiene en su reverso varios dibujos dise\u00f1ados con pluma. Puede ser considerado como uno de los primeros documentos de archivo gr\u00e1ficos<\/b> de la provincia de Almer\u00eda:<\/p>\n
En uno de ellos queda representado un soldado que dispara con un mosquete a un marino blandiendo una espada curva encaramado en la picuda proa de un barco de remos de un solo m\u00e1stil, vela triangular y castillete que soporta a otros tripulantes manejando un tim\u00f3n y ataviados con gorros terminados en punta; una bandera ondea en la popa. El cristiano viste sombrero con visera tipo morri\u00f3n, jub\u00f3n, espada con guardamano y sin cazoleta al cinto y daga, calz\u00f3n, calzas y zapatos.<\/p>\n En el otro dibujo se observa a un soldado oteando el horizonte con una mano y de aspecto m\u00e1s cuidado: sombrero plano, bigote, gola o gorguera en el cuello, coleto grueso, espada con guardamano y sin cazoleta al cinto, unos abultados greguescos o bullones, calzas y zapatos.<\/p>\n En estos expedientes pertenecientes al a\u00f1o 1638-1639 tambi\u00e9n se ha descubierto un censo en el que se incluye a la \u2018gente de guerra\u2019 y a los civiles, vecinos de Vera. ILLUSTRATED REPORT.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/a> The text sent to La Voz de Almer\u00eda on July 31, 2008 for the publication of an article reporting on the discovery in Vera’s Municipal Archive of a pen drawing (1636) is transcribed.<\/span><\/p>\n Since 1983, the staff of Vera’s Municipal Archive has worked for, among other things, retrieve and disseminate documentation is kept in its warehouses. The most important documentary collection this area is that produced by the Council itself since 1494, annually enriched with new documents retrieved from a spatial dispersion in the coming years will only be a memory.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/a> Among the lawsuits resolved by Vera’s Mayor some documents are discovered every week that, over time and researchers’ investigation come to define or clarify historical data gaps created by the absence of any substantial news. In recent years, several cartons temporally protected <\/span>half metre<\/span> of judicial documents (1638-1639). Its treatment was delayed by the difficulty of the physical recovery of paper formats: continious contact with moisture had turned it in a large block of linen, ink and clay. Removing it patiently once and again using a chisel, they have come to light and after almost four centuries, some very interesting documents. One of them, dealing with an issue related to the lessors of Garrucha’s tower (defensive building that gave its name to the current town), <\/span>Miguel Ximenez and Francisco Campoy, second lieutenants, contain in its reverse several pen drawings. It can be considered as one of the first <\/span>illustrated reports<\/b><\/span> of Almer\u00eda’s province:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/a> One of them represents a soldier who shoots <\/span>at a marine brandishing a curved sword perched on beaked prow of a rowing boat with a single mast, triangular sail and castillete supporting other crew driving a rudder and dressed in pointed caps; a flag flutters in the stern. The Christian wears hat with morri\u00f3n visor type, doublet, sword in hand guard without cup and dagger at his belt, panties, stockings and shoes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
